Our Story

Vegana Italiana aims to reinvent the category of artisanal vegan and gluten free Italian fare while inspiring people with the positivity of plants. We produce healthy and innovative plant-based alternatives to everyone’s favourite food - Italian!

Our wide range of products - including our famous lasagna - are all free from eggs, dairy and gluten.

Growing up Italian, I was very close with my grandmother, Gliceria, and would always be greeted by the smells of sauce, soups, gnocchi, and lasagna whenever I’d visit her.

As I became vegetarian and then vegan - satisfying my taste for these Italian classics were becoming nearly impossible. I couldn’t find anything vegan, let alone gluten free that would taste just like Nonna’s. So I decided to create my own. Nonna was always so innovative with her cooking- always making things her way.

That’s where I learned how to make things my own too.




I began to reinvigorate the recipes she would make for me as a little girl, but in vegan form and without compromising taste or flavour.

Our mission is to create a new kind of food company that’s built on the history of family, compassion for both living creatures and our planet and creating distinctive foods that heal and nourish the body.
